Spring View from the Appalachian Trail

There was an old road named the Logan Turnpike that climbed up from this valley, crossed over the Appalachian Trail at Tesnatee Gap, and continued to the north. It was made before earthmoving equipment existed. Part of the old road is now the Richard Russell Scenic Highway, Georgia highway 348.
