Our names are Matt and Traci Williams and we purchased this business and moved here from the Atlanta area with our three daughters, Kenzi, Tyler and Maci in April, 2015. We just completed our 5th year and could not be more happy with our our decision.  We have met so many interesting people from all over the world and have really enjoyed the relationships we have created with many of our return guests.

 

The name of the business comes from Blood Mountain, the third highest mountain in Georgia, and the highest peak on the Georgia section of the Appalachian Trail. Blood Mountain was named by the Cherokee and Creek Indians, who fought each other on the sides of the mountain.

 

We are located at Neel’s Gap, about two miles east of the mountain. The elevation at Blood Mountain is 4,458 feet above sea level. Our elevation is just over 3,000 feet.
